These are the 15" alloy wheels from my 92 SC. As you can see, they are in rough shape! Right now, they are off the car and I am in the process of refinishing them.
1. Remove wheel from car
2. Use industrial strength paint stripper to remove clear coat. Spray it on, let it sit 20 min, wipe off with rag!
3. Begin sanding rough spots with 50-grit sand paper, making sure to remove any bits of remaining clear coat.
4. Move up to finer sandpaper, 120-grit is what I used next.
That is all I have done so far. I will have some updated pics and the rest of the steps once I get them done.
