Bear Creek Kennels

Our kennel has been established for 21 years. We are located in a beautiful country setting just 3 minutes off of HWY 11 south. Powassan, Ontario .

The kennel has 20 runs. 3 runs are outdoor only. The rest are indoor/outdoor. Each indoor pen is 4 feet x 4 1/2 feet. The dogs have privacy from other dogs. They wont get growled at or wet on. Each outdoor concrete run is 16 to 20 feet long.

The kennel is comfortably heated in the winter and kept cool in the summer. For entertainment a radio is played and occasionally a Television.

Exercise Area

Besides each pen, each dog has the opportunity to get out, run around and play. (individually). The play area is completely fenced in, safe and secure.

Nutrition

All dogs are fed with Peerless "all natural" dog food. It is included at no extra charge. I t is a high quality dog food that is made by West Highland Terrier breeder in Southern Ontario. We also retail Peerless dog food to over 50 customers.

We also sell pet supplies , leashes, collars, chokers, brushes, treats, toys, hooves and various snacks..

If you prefer not to change the diet of your dog, please feel welcome to bring your own food.

Grooming

Our grooming is presently limited to bathing, nails and minor trims. (We hope to expand our grooming services in the future).

Transportation Services

Home pick up and delivery services available. Rates are based on 30 km one way. Additional fee for longer distance.

Rates

All dogs are $ 9.00 per night each.

Prices change only if dogs share the same pen.

An extra half day is charged when applicable.

Please book in your date and time ahead. We appreciate notice if these details change.

Feel free to bring any of your dogs belongings, we want them to have a happy stay !

Medical Records

Records are required for every dog that enters the kennel. All annual boosters must be up yo date. This protects everyone.

Staff

We are a family operated kennel . We simply adore all animals. There are 3 additional staff members that enjoy working with the animals when they are needed.
